The Calabar Art, Fashion, and Industrial Awards (CAFI), made a triumphant debut on August 23-24, 2024, after a brief postponement from its initial dates. Despite the initial setback, CAFI exceeded expectations, drawing in a diverse crowd of fashion enthusiasts and professionals.
The 2-day expo was a resounding success, featuring the CEO of Demfati, Oril Ekunke, and showcasing the best of Nigerian fashion.
Project Lead HarryKent Effiong shared his optimism for the future: "We hope this event will attract more fashion investors and brands to the city, positioning Calabar as a key player on the global fashion map. Special thanks to our designers, particularly Jasmine Afrik and Sanitex Collections, who traveled from Rivers State to join us."
